Two Weeks Old

And, boy, is he growing! This pic doesn't really show that off, but it is from tonight, when he is two weeks old.


Jackson is eating constantly. I haven't weighed him in a while, but last time we went to the doctor he was already back over his birth weight, which is AWESOME!

His umbilical cord has dried up enough to fall off, too, so he's had a second and, possibly third bath (I forget), but he's now had one with soap all over.

Lastly, he's still sleeping OK, but not on his own, he's on my chest most of the time most nights...He sleeps from 1-3 hours...so we get a few naps a night, but we are SO TIRED, this is tough. Thank goodness Summer hasn't had problems with sleeping and she's still sleeping through the nights! Also, luckily we have Bob and Bumpa here, but they're leaving soon. I don't know what we'll do then.

Wish us luck! Could Jackson possibly start sleeping through the night by next week? :-) Crossing our fingers...

Welcome Home

Well, welcome to everyone to the new blog...

And welcome home, Jack!

We finally gave Jackson his first bath, and of course you need to get a first bath picture, right?


So, Jack's been home a few days. He's been sleeping amazingly well (knocks on wood). Summer has been great with Jack, and is fine when ANYONE picks him up, as long as that anyone isn't ME!! Summer is a bit jealous of you Jackson, my boy. Luckily Summer is loving Bob and Bumpa. She totally has taken to Bumpa and flirts with him a lot.

Them being here has allowed Jess and I to sleep in with Jackson and take it a little more easy. I'm sure Jackson likes them, too, as he's been fine with everyone holding him.

Anyway, I just wanted to say hey, and post a few pics to the new blog. So, lastly, this picture was taken just moments ago.
