A Quick Update

So, when Jess's parents visited Jack got a Monkey from them...inn't he cute?


And here he is just eating and eating and eating...he's already nearly 11 pounds...that's 4 pounds more than when he left the hospital, at just under 7 pounds. He's only just over a month old...he's packing it on quick!


And, like always, Jack likes to sleep on me, and Jess got this pic.


And lastly, compare this to the other pic of them lying near each other (on the family website... just follow the link, when Jack was just a few days old, he seemed so much smaller than Summer, now he's almost up to half her weight, instead of one third... Yowsers!!!

Holy Toledo, One Month Oldedo

Well, been busy, as you can well imagine, not just the kids, we got ALL of Jess's family here, too! Including Niece Puppy Sadie. :-)

So, just wanted to put up a little update, since our little boy is one month old today! Here he is being held by Grumpa.


OK, that's that...gonna get back to it...and eat me some lunch!

A Good Night's Sleep

Yeah, last night that big eater of a son ate and ate and ate...When I got home it seemed like he had a bottle in his mouth the entire time before we went to bed. And he was awake for an hour or so checking things out just before going to sleep...so, when we all finally did fall asleep around 10PM he slept until 3:58 when I felt him stirring and woke me up. He tossed and turned, but stayed relatively quiet and sleeping until about 5AM when he finally really woke up and wanted to eat.

So, the plan? Keep him up more and stuff him full of milk before bed! We'll see how that'll work.

Thumb

So, Jackson has found his thumb a few times the last few days...so, that's been helpful. He's been a bit snotty and congested due to me getting sick and then him. I'm sorry Jack.

I just wanted to update everyone, say how well Jack's doing, other than the illness he's happy and eating like crazy! He's at least 9 pounds already. And that comes with help from Summer. She loves to help with her little brother. Such as tonight, earlier when I was feeding him, she wanted to help, so I put him in her lap and let her feed him.


OK, that was all, time to watch the kid and get some sleep.
