Ride Em Cowboy!

Jack is finally able to sit on his horsey all by himself! He went on a ride with Summer this morning.



And of course he had to be a show off with "Look Ma No Hands":


And here are some pics of Jacky sitting up playing and having a drink with his big sister. Note his tongue in the first picture. Jess was right (see previous post), Jacky is getting his first teeth and he loves to explore them with his tongue.

Jackson's Seventh Month Update and Papa's Day

Well Jackson is now seven months and is still working on sitting up and is doing pretty good on his own if you set him on the floor. He is also doing good with picking up toys and playing with them.


As for Father's Day well that is another story. He woke up a bunch the night before and left us all tired. He also was not a very happy camper that day yelling at us a lot and wanting to be walked, and walked and walked...could there be new teeth coming in? Maybe...anyhoo...here are couple of pics of Jacky on Father's Day (before all the screaming).

Sitting up and GGG-Grandpa

So, we've been working hard on Jackson's sitting up skills. He's great in a lap with that little bit of support, but still topples on the floor. However, Jess was able to get this shot before he fell over. So he is doing much better.

And he's eating a lot again, but not all sorts of food, so we have to get back into that a little more. Let's hope we can now get him working on sleeping through the night, but that may be hard since we'll be disturbing his sleep patterns in a month on our trip to NC to visit Jess' parents.

Speaking of Jess' parents, her mom was looking through some photos and organizing, when she found this pic of GREAT-GREAT-GREAT-Grandfather Elmer Earl Griffin.

He was born on the same day as our little Jacky. Pretty neat to have an old picture of him Thanks Gigi!

Alright, that's it. Jack went to sleep nearly an hour ago, so I'm gonna get to bed and we'll try to make a post on the family blog tomorrow for some pics of little Sum-Sum. g'nite.
