Bird Bath

OK, so poor little Jacky is feeling a bit sick...he seems to have pink-eye. D'oh. Jess will take him in tomorrow and maybe get some drops. The GOOD news, though is that Jack has slept through the night 4 nights in a row. We're going for 5 tonight...I hope this doesn't jinx it! Right on schedule with Summer, she started sleeping through the night around her 8 month birthday, too.

So, Jack is heading to daycare. He went to a local lady last week (which is where we think he got that pink-eye, or whatever it is). But, when Jess talked to our daycare about it, they decided to help us out and we're now going to get Jack into Summer's daycare, yay!!! That will make everything so much easier. We couldn't afford it, but the people at the daycare heard how we were going to have each kid in a different place, so they a giving us a deal until he turns one. They are AWESOME!!!

So, that catches you up on him a little. Doing well, not crawling, trying to stand and walk, though...same as before. But, what the title hints at and I want to share are a few pics from my cell phone (so not the best quality), but they are cute. Jack was prety dirty from dinner the other night, and I didn't want to go to the trouble of giving him a FULL bath...so I put him in the sink.

And as you can see, Summer joined in the fun. Jack was watching her. She tried to help and was very nice.

Of course, like all things, Summer's attention span is short, so she started brushing her hair and teeth. But she stuck around. Here is Jack at the end, drying off, ready for hang out for a while before bed.

Happy 8 Months

Well Jacky is officially eight months old now and has his first tooth (and another one on the way). We tried to capture a clear picture but as you can imagine Jacky wasn't quite up to us prodding in his mouth to get a mug shot.


He also went to the water park with Summer and Austin today and had a great time. He kept laughing and giggling and trying to run his hands through the water. As you can see in this picture he was wiped out from all the fun and ready for nappy time. He fell asleep right after this on the ride home.


Other than that, Jackson is sitting up great and eating well. I have my doubts personally that he is going to crawl but we will see. I think he is just going to start pulling himself up and cruise in another month or so.
